Missions

Missions is the heartbeat of Albertville FBC!

We take seriously the call of God to make disciples in our city, state, nation and the world.
We encourage all attenders to be on mission by praying, giving and going.

Prayer
Every FBC Small Group is assigned a different mission partner to pray for and encourage each week. In addition to this, we pray for various mission causes and needs in every Sunday morning worship service.

Giving
There are three primary ways FBC partners with missionaries and mission causes:

  1. We contribute 3% of every general budget dollar received to the Marshall Baptist Association. This is a group of 101 cooperating churches in Marshall County.
  2. We contribute 10% of every general budget dollar received to Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist Convention and its mission programs. There funds are used by the Alabama State Board of Missions, The North American Mission Board and the International Mission Board. Through these funds, we help support over 8000 missionaries around the world.
  3. All FBC attenders are encouraged to participate in an ongoing mission emphasis entitled Advance 2023. This program provides a personal connection and partnership with mission partners in local, national, and international missions. Monthly support is provided to each of our partners directly.

Going
Each year, well over 100 volunteers from FBC serve in local, national or international missions. Various opportunities are provided on a regular basis.
