Albertville FBC faith family and friends,

With multiple confirmed cases of the COVID-19 Virus in Alabama, Albertville FBC has implemented the following plan for ministry in our community:

*In an effort to be a responsible community partner, Albertville FBC will suspend all public gatherings starting Monday, March 16th. This includes any/all ministry gatherings for children, students, adults and senior adults. This will last from 3/16/20 to 4/5/20. Our leaders will consult the CDC, Alabama health officials, school officials and local authorities to determine any further actions in the first few days of April.

In the case of a change in our policy, we will contact you by all available means: text, One Call Now, email, USPS, and Facebook.

*There are currently three great options for you to worship the Lord online with the Albertville FBC family:
– We will offer a live stream of our worship service each Sunday morning at 10:15am. Everyone will have an opportunity to sing along, pray as a group, open God’s Word and grow in Christ…all from the comfort of your own home. Please visit albertvillefbc.church, join the interactive portal, or log on to the Albertville FBC Facebook page to engage in the live stream.

– We will provide a live worship option on WQSB 105.1 FM each Sunday morning from 9:00am to 10:00am. Join thousands of other people around North Alabama as we worship and study God’s Word together!

Please be sure to invite your friends and neighbors to worship online or on the radio with us!

*The church office will remain open each weekday from 8:00am to 4:30pm for ministry and church business. If you need us, reach out to us! We are here to care for one another!

*Our deacons will be calling each of our Senior Adults on a weekly basis to see if there is a specific need we can help meet during this season.

*We encourage each member and attender to be faithful with your tithes and offerings during this time. Our ministry expenses will continue whether we gather as a group or not. In fact, we expect our benevolence ministry to see a great increase in requests during this season.

Please give online at albertvillefbc.church or mail a financial gift to First Baptist Church, 309 East Main Street, Albertville, AL 35950.

We will keep you informed of ways to minister in our community during this time of concern. I have no doubt that God will provide us ample opportunities to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

Our goal is to be prudent and wise, but not panicked. Even though the Coronavirus is consuming our media, we implore you to NOT let it consume your thoughts. Be prudent in your decisions and be confident in your faith in Him. God is not surprised by our current state of affairs nor is He indifferent to our situation.

May we all look for ways to give Him glory, share the hope of Jesus, and be a testimony of faith over fear to a world in need!

I look forward to worshiping online with you this Sunday!

Pastor Chris
