Small Groups • Sunday @ 9:30am

Updated: 5/2/20

This week, Governor Ivey released a “Safer At Home” phase in the plan to re-open Alabama. I appreciate the hard decisions our state leaders have been forced to make over the past seven weeks, and I am looking forward to seeing our way of life flourish again soon.

So, what does this mean for Albertville FBC?

*We will continue with online worship at 10:15am on Sundays. Click here to watch: https://albertvillefbc.church/

*We will continue with Pastors Round Table discussions on WQSB 105.1fm each Sunday at 9:00am.

*We will continue to offer a “virtual lobby” through Zoom at the conclusion of the morning worship services. This is a great way to see the faces of those we have been missing! Join us this Sunday as soon as the service is over. Click here to join this Sunday after worship: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86837309058?pwd=a3NKZ1kvOFVBcEF3NG9zM1hRZno2Zz09

*We will continue with iWorship Kids Style each Wednesday evening at 6:00pm. This is a fun and interactive Bible study and worship time for children.

*Many of our Sunday School small groups are hosting a Zoom gathering at some point throughout the week. Check with your leader to see if your class is hosting a meeting. If not, please call the church office and we can connect you to a group that is meeting.

What is coming NEXT for Albertville FBC?

*We now offer a new way for people who do NOT have internet access to LISTEN to our live worship service through their phone. Its easy: at 10:15am on Sunday dial (toll free) 1-855-539-6018.

(This is a dedicated toll-free line for our worship service. You will have an option to allow the number to call you each Sunday when the service starts. Follow the prompt to set up the reminder.)

*Our next Drive-Thru Meal Give-away is Thursday, May 7th from 5:00pm to 6:30pm. In addition to providing 500 meals for our community, we will also be delivering meals to our oldest Senior Adults and our homebound. Volunteers will be needed to make “porch deliveries” to our seniors and to help serve the meal.

*Vacation Bible School is becoming Virtual Bible School! This May 27-29, we will host an online VBS experience for preschool children up through 6th grade. Each participant will receive a packet of craft supplies, Bible Study material and a T-shirt! All lessons, worship, crafts and missions will be taught online each day. Please visit https://albertvillefbc.church/vbs/ to register your children.

How can you help?

1. Pray! Pray for the residents of Marshall County who have contracted COVID-19. Pray for the safety of their families. Pray for the COVID-19 virus to dissipate. Pray for the Gospel to be proclaimed and people to turn to Jesus! Pray for people to be discipled! Pray for our local faith family to be the hands and feet of Jesus in this difficult time. Pray for fellow church members as they navigate this season.

2. Give. We encourage each member and attender to be faithful with your tithes and offerings during this time. Our ministry expenses continue whether we gather as a group or not.

Please give online at albertvillefbc.church or mail a financial gift to First Baptist Church, 309 East Main Street, Albertville, AL 35950.

3. Serve others. If you are NOT considered high risk for COVID-19, consider volunteering for our meal drive-thru next week. If you fall into the high-risk category, please pray for our ministry efforts and consider a special gift to help sponsor the drive-thru meal.

I miss seeing you! I miss hearing you worship! We will gather again soon!
